The joint admissions and matriculation board jamb has announced that it will probe all candidates that sat for its exams from year 2009 to 2019 examinations

The board expressed this as it explained how cadidates participated in fraudulent schemes to beat the system through exam malpractice and impersonation.

Explaining how impersonation takes place, Benjamin added, “This is how they operate: My name is Keiran Benjamin but I will register as Abdullahi Musa and do exams for Abdullahi Musa but I will use my picture and my biometric data; only the name will be different.

This pattern of impersonation has seen a recent increase as dubious students now contract out their examinations to someone else who will sit for the exams for them to gain admissio into the university.

Jamb says it go on to withdraw the certificates of such kind of candidates who have been flagged by their system to have indulged in such practices.

Some of these candidates may have already graduated and also completed theit NYSC compulsory service year.
